cqc #205 ~ Hello There!

Well hello there! Did you think I had skipped town LOL! I know things have been quite around here, just working on DT projects and taking a wee break. Speaking of DT projects, I have a new one to share today. Along with this project is some pretty nifty news. I'm the newest member of the ColourQ Royal Court Design Team!!! Eeeek...I know right!!! I got one of those sweet emails that make you feel humbly warm and fuzzy all over. Thanks Arielle! 

I have discovered that for some odd reason this cute little fox gives me fits! On top of that, my new London Fog ink pad is super juicy and was puddling on the stamp ~ grrrr. So let's just say this card took some work. Aren't the tiny flower buttons sweet though. They're from my DeNami stash and just so happen to match the Raspberry Ripple paper quite well. I snuck in a wee bit of Island Indigo with a little gem for the nose, cute huh!

    Oh Lisa, I have been having some serious issues with inks puddling on stamps for some time now. I've been searching for the perfect ink and I'm convinced it doesn't exist! In any event, whatever you did totally works because this card is fabbo! That sly fox looks pretty fantastic!

    I can't even *begin* to express how adorable this card is, Lisa! I love how you used all of those luscious colors in your sweet creation.     Thanks for being such a faithful visitor to my blog over the summer--it was always such a joy to see your smiling face in the comments section!! It was such a crazy busy summer--I never had the time I wanted to for getting out to visit folks in blog land. But with the kids back in school now, I'm hoping I'll have a little more time to myself these days!!!

    Congrats on making the team, Lisa!!! This card is a beauty! The colors are so striking and I always love this little fox! (Can you believe I haven't inked mine up yet??? Absolutely. No. Time!!!) And you're right...the little buttons are perfect with it! LOVE it!

    LOVE the blue nose! i struggled with this color combo and chinzed it with a little bit of blue baker's twine :S this is fabulous inspiration...i love the paper piecing!
