Just Because

Hi there! Popping in tonight with a card for this week's Papertrey Ink Make it Monday challenge.

This was a fun technique to try. My colors are based on a cute little GAP hoodie my toddler granddaughter had on yesterday. It was light gray with two toned pink watercolored flowers and golden yellow leaves. I've used blooms from the Pretty Peonies set along with leaves from the Turning a New Leaf set to bring that look to my card.

Thanks for visiting!

I love how you've layered these images. I can never get that look just right! The colors are lovely and perfect for spring. Now if spring would just show up and winter would get lost!

Lisa, I’m completely smitten by this card! Oh, I love it so! I get color combos all the time from my kiddos clothing. :) PS I keep meaning to thank you for your sweet card and the stickers. Meg was delighted to receive a card with her name in it and has used every last little sticker. She placed them so carefully on pink papers. The first page she did all in a row and was so proud to show everyone. Thank you for bringing her (and me) so much joy!

Clothing can be a great card inspiration, Lisa. Have you seen some of Hannelie's closet cards? You have it down pat with this card based on Sweet P's hoodie.

While I love your pretty card, Lisa, I'll bet the cuter of the two adorned with this pattern was Sweet P! Don't kids clothes make wonderful inspiration? That should be a challenge! But, seriously, your card is gorgeous in design and coloring and I love that sediment!! Hugs, Darnell
