Blessings

I've been trying for days to get this card photographed and posted! Our renovation is taking up all of my extra time. But there is a light at the end of the tunnel. The new floor installation begins bright and early Monday morning. I wonder what Sweet P will think of the workman being here. She keeps telling me, "Grandma, there are things missing in your house." Bless her little heart, wait until she gets here on Monday and finds the living room empty! I'm sure she'll be on the search for her toys as fast as those little legs will carry her! Not to worry, she's all set up for a few days of upstairs playtime.

This is another card I put together using the 12 Kits of Occasions April 2018 kit. Pretty simple, just a couple of die cut borders and fussy cutting on the birdcage image. I think this one will qualify for the City Crafter Challenge Blog. They're asking for birds this week.

Thanks for stopping by, I'm so happy you did!

I'm so glad that things are wrapping up so the chaos will be over soon and it will be beautiful! I imagine it is pretty confusing for sweet Miss P! Your card is lovely, Lisa! Feminine and colorful and I love that wee bird! I also love the way you have the doubled scallop trim facing upward on your design!! Hugs, Darnell

Oh how beautiful, Lisa!! Those scalloped edges and the soft colors are melting my heart! Another gorgeous creation from your kit - love the sweet birdcage and florals! Super exciting that your floor install goes in soon! That is always my favorite part of a reno - it makes such a huge impact! Plus, I love spaces when everything is cleared out - feels like a fresh start!

Your card is so lovely Lisa! I love the fancy scalloped edges and those beautiful colors. Your little granddaughter is so clever to see that things are missing from your home. Wish I could be a fly on the wall to see her face when she goes looking for her toys. What a treasured gift grandkis are! Hope your mother's day is filled with many joys. <3
