CQC #330 ~ C4C #469

Popping in tonight with a fun little card I made this afternoon. I had a heck of a time getting this little critter colored. My lightest brown Copic marker was running out on me. You wouldn't believe what all I used to color this little dude. An 'on it's last leg' Copic marker, watercolor pencils, Tombow marker, and colored pencils. It was pouring the rain so Hobby Lobby was a no go! He'll due, I guess.

Anyway... This stamp is by Darcie. I picked up at a stamp convention years ago. I've used the other images in the set, but never this one. CASology has Bouquet as their cue word and I think this works! Then there's Crazy 4 Challenges with their groundhog or ground critter challenge. What do you think this little dude is? I can see groundhog, how about you? Maybe a bear, I'm just not sure!

Thanks for stopping by, take care!

I thought bear with his little round face and bigger ears. Definitely a baby though so he qualifies as a ground animal! Anyway, he is adorable and I love your sweet blooms and butterfly! The coloring looks great too so you did the right combining!

Whatever you went through to get him colored, Lisa, you did a brilliant job! And the flowers in the pot he's sharing are so pretty! You also colored them beautifully, as well as the clay pot! I think he is way too cute to be a groundhog. He looks a little bit like Hammy's son, Humphrey, who has an unusual flat nose, but I'm pretty sure Humphrey hasn't modeled for any stamps, so I'm going to say a little baby brown bear! He looks so pleased, like he just found some honey down in that pot!! Hugs, Darnell

Isn't it great that all those mediums play so well together. The final bear/ground critter turned out perfectly, Lisa. The colors are so soft and dreamy.

I think you always colour your cards so perfectly. Pesky drying out markers. I have quite a few that need to be refilled now--that is a whole new ballgame!
