Inspired By #174 ~ Orange You Lemonade

 

 

Orange you glad it's Thursday? 

I am, that means it time for a new Inspired By challenge!



When I first saw our prompt photo, those black leaves caught my eye right away. So much so that I covered a whole panel with them using Versa Mark ink and clear embossing powder! How do you like my lemon? I hand cut my own stencil! The oranges were made using the negative of a circle die cut. Then came a few more leaves. 

Don't forget, you can use the inspiration photo, the sketch or both!

    I wish I had been as enterprising as you to create your own stencil...actually I did think about doing that, but was lazy, LOL! I am very impressed by your striking card. It's so out of your normal style, I am blown away! But I LOVE it! Just fabulous!

    Catching up after a fortnight away from blogland, Lisa ... and had to stop and tell you how fabulous this card is! The black on black is deliciously dramatic ... such a fantastic contrast with the softness of your shaded, stencilled (which is brilliant btw!), zesty oranges and lemon! Mouthwatering!
