God Bless You

Hey there! My teammie Lisa K. has a lovely soft color palette for us at Just Us Girls this week. I decided on a wintry theme, check it out!

This card all began with a tiny white church (PTI)! I inked a light blue sky then white embossed some pine trees (DeNami) over it. That little church was placed at the top of a snow covered hill. I brought silver to the mix with a heat embossed sentiment and snowflakes. I love how peaceful this looks!

Okay, your turn. We look forward to seeing what the colors inspire you to make!

Lisa... loving so many things about this card. The little church is adorable. I haven't visited Papertrey lately but will today! Embossing the trees on the light blue background is lovely. Never seen that sentiment... and it is perfect. Also love the postage-style frame and the pine embossed background. All perfect elements in a card!

If I didn't know better, I would have guessed this prompt was yours, Lisa. It is right up your design alley with the soft colors and your inspiration card is stunning! It has that hushed freshly-fallen snow look to it and adding the church and sediment makes it even more hushed. It makes me miss the snow! (Just for a minute.) Hugs, Darnell

What a fabulous card, Lisa. I love that little church and the sentiment goes perfectly with it. The inking, postage die and embossed pines (both on the inked panel and in the background) bring it all together beautifully.
