Color Trends Challenge ~ Thanks!

Good morning! I have another creation to share today, something I've put together for the Embellish Magazine Color Trends Challenge ~ Rosettes. Isn't this photo great, spilling over with inspiration and pretty bright spring colors! Many things caught my eye in this photo. It's a fun mix of elegant, modern and vintage with a bit of playfulness sprinkled in!

I was inspired by the vase on the left for my background. I just reversed the colors and stamped a pretty Hero Arts leaf stamp onto the edges of kraft cardstock. Next was the floral paper (possibly wallpaper?); my panel is from the BasicGrey: Urban Prairie collection.  To capture the roundness of the plastic toy I went with this cute wire birdcage stamp by BasicGrey. The Spellbinders: labels 18 dies were the perfect size to showcase it. With the challenge being rosettes I decided to use some bright PTI felt to create some rolled roses using  MFT dies to pull the challenge colors from my background paper. I added them to the card along with a fabric flower rosette. I must say the sparkle of the mirror and tiny cut glass votive candle holder in the photo caught my eye first!!! So I've finished off my card with an assortment of shiny buttons and the sparkliest of gems. I think these accents really bring my card to life. Finally a PTI tiny tag with a wee thanks sentiment tucked among the rosettes.

That's all for me today friends...off to the grocery store! ~Lisa
