Hello! I hope everyone had an enjoyable weekend. We took advantage of the warm sunny weather with some outdoor time and finished off our weekend with an invitation out to dinner with our sweetest of sweets son and daughter-in-law. Love sitting across from their smiling faces!! I'm taking another crafting journey and playing along for the first time with the girls at
Color Throwdown. Aren't these cozy colors!
I started with a kraft card base then layered on three panels from MME: Mabel collection. I used my PTI heart border die and some fun ball fringe trim from Archivers to divide the panels. This sentiment is by Wordsworth-rubber soul. It's something my hubby says. It's his favorite line when I've cleared all of the towel to do laundry and forget to put out clean ones (probably because I'm making a card or something!!). He comes home from work, washes up and then say "it's the simple things" as he stands there with dripping hands!! Imagine my joy when I found this little stamp ~hee!!! I finished things off with the oh so cute house from the PTI: Love Lives Here die collection complete with glittered wings from the butterfly in the set, buttons and a wee bit of bling. The tiny trios of dots are from Stamps by Judith.
Now I'm off to the grocery store, then home to finish some laundry. Yes...towels!!! I'll try to remember to put some back before the hubs gets home ~HA!! Have a great day friends ~Lisa
