I'm sharing a sparkly twinkly kind of card today that I actually made ahead for the last Papertrey Ink blog hop but never got posted. It was the weekend our sweet little Max was so sick and we had to say goodbye. I looked around for a challenge it might be suited for today and found that Inkspirational's prompt word this go around is shine. I think all of the rhinestones I added to this little baby fit that category!
This unique color combo came from one of the graphics PTI had available for their hop (I added it below). I've used their Bells and Boughs set along with the tiny pine sprigs from Love Lives Here: Holiday. The soft stone and white cardstocks along with the smokey shadow, blueberry sky and soft stone inks are also PTI, the green cardstock and rhinestones are DeNami Design. It's a bit different for me, but I kind of like it!
Have a wonderful day friends and enjoy your weekend ~Lisa

ReplyDeleteFirst, I am so, so, so sorry to hear of Max's passing. As a former 'mom' to two schnauzers, I can certainly empathize with your loss. My heart and prayers to out to you. Hopefully, making cards will help with your healing. The one shared here is lovely: bright, cheery, shimmery, sparkly. It suits the Inkspirational Challenge to a 't' - and thank you for sharing it in the gallery!
