Enjoy the Journey!

Surf's up! Not here in Ohio, on the Inspired By blog!
 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have to admit I was a bit stumped at first. I had nothing in my collection of stamps or paper that seemed to work. So I adapted and overcame drawing inspiration from both the photo and sketch!
I used some die cut magic to turn an older Spellbinders square postage die into a rectangle. Then I zoned in on the ombre pinks and pretty sunset from our photo. Masking and ink blending gave me the stripes and circle. I heat embossed brush strokes (PRS: New Day) then added specks (PRS: Fall Colors) as a nod to the birds. I free-handed the palm tree and cut it from black cardstock. Last, but not least, my sentiment (PRS: Journey).
I hope I've inspired you to join us this week!
