Hey There!

Check out this cheerful moodboard Elizabeth has for us at Just Us Girls! The team and our March guest, Michele Ferguson have oodles of inspiration for you!

I pulled a couple of the elements together to create a playful card using a cute little paintbrush from Simply Graphic.

Surgery was performed on the stamp to remove the leafy paint trail coming from the bristles. I colored them with Copics then masked off the four rectangles and colored them to coordinate. Before attaching the paintbrushes, I used a little stick stamp to add the flowers. A simple tiny tag for a small sentiment was all it needed. Kinda cute, huh!

I did forget to add a little sparkle detail to the 'metal part' of the paintbrushes before photographing. I went back in with a glittery Gelly Roll pen to take care of it!

We hope you'll join us this week.

Thanks for taking a peek!

  4. I loved this at first glance Lisa! I am so afraid to perform surgery on my stamps in case in the future I can't line the up again. Your colors are so soft and pretty, the design with the flowers in the paint strokes so clever, and the tag to hold the sentiment, perfect!!!!
