Warm and Fuzzy Winter Wishes!

Brrrrrrr..... I just went to the mailbox and dang is it COLD!!! We were gifted 12" or more of snow from the storm. Our mailman in his little mail truck was chugging along though, God bless him. I think the cold has also affected my mojo. But I did manage to put this little number together for the Inspired By challenge.

I used my Poppystamps Nordic Large Mitten with a couple of their retired snowflakes and a cutie little bird from the Nordic Bird Bunch set. When I saw the inspiration photo, I thought, hey I have that ribbon and that heart button! All of those goodies went onto an embossed polka dot panel (PTI paper). Or should I say debossed. I had my paper in the folder the wrong way! Still works for me!  A PTI banner with inked edges holds the MFT sentiment.

Off this goes to the gallery. Hope everyone stays safe and warm. Thanks so much for spending a bit of your day with me!

  1. Oh, I love it, Lisa! Cute and clever, and so inspired! Love that debossed polka dot background. I forget to deboss, but it looks just as good as the reverse!

This card really does give off the warm fuzzy vibe and we need it here too in W. Michigan...over a foot of new snow since last night and white out conditions all day long today!! I am SO ready for Spring!! Hope you're staying warm and safe too my friend!! Hugs. :0)

  8. Well, you could never tell that your mojo is hiding when you have made this fabulous card!. I LOVE the mitten die - though I love every Nordic die. I love the accidental debossing on your beloved polka dots, the detail of the gingham, the heart button... every bit of this card is wonderful.
