World Card Making Day & Give-A-Way!


I'm back again...happy world card making day peeps!! DeNami Design has loads of fun going on at the blog and on Facebook today to celebrate the card makers holiday! See the fun graphic below? It's for a card challenge! A tic tac toe game. Choose your row and create a card for a chance to win a $40 Denami gift certificate!!! Several of the team members are playing along too. We hope you'll take some time to get crafty and link up your card with us. I've used three items from the graphic for my card. Buttons (that was a given ~ hee hee!), green (I went a bit lighter) and stripes.

This card was quick and so simple to make. It's also not bulky, so mailing is easy! I started with the leafy sprig wreath, stamped in simply chartreuse ink. The leaves were colored in with a brighter shade of green. Next I used a heart border to die cut a green stripe paper and a few fluttery butterflies. This is one of my favorite DeNami sentiments! I added the stamped panel to a textured green card base. And finally several little buttons from the Sweetheart Boutique Buttons collection adorn my wreath.

    Lisa, this is just lovely! Couldn't tell you exactly what I like best about it, because it's all perfectly put together. The colors, heart border, and the font/sentiment really speak to me, though. It's just gorgeous. Love this. Bev
