Hello lovelies! Popping in real quick tonight with a card for Freshly Made Sketches. A sweet little square number that went together quickly.
I went literal with this one right down to the placement of my flower! The SSS flower die is layered four times. The fourth layer is just the top portion cut from white with the petals left in. I flooded them with a glue pen then sprinkled in some glitter.
Sweet, summery and simple. Hope you like it!
Anyone tried my new email subscription button?
I would love to know if it's working!
This is so pretty and PERFECT for the challenge! The flower is amazing and I am lovin' those big embossed polka dots too! Sweet!
ReplyDeleteYour card is sweet and summery, Lisa. A safe and happy 4th to you!
ReplyDeleteLisa, this post arrived the old way - to my email. I guess the only way to test it will be to unsubscribe to that? Otherwise I'm receiving them twice - which means the new way worked? Is that clear as mud? I need more coffee...
ReplyDeleteLOve your sweet dot-embossed card, and this darling sunshine-y yellow! Thanks for the flower, too! xx

ReplyDeleteHello -
ReplyDeleteI love your cheerful sunshine-y card! The glittered petals really add interest and fun.
I subscribed to getting your posts by email and it worked. I subscribed yesterday and got an email notification both yesterday and today.
I mean, how can this not be the winner??! It's a beautiful take on the sketch, Lisa! I love the way you flooded the petals with glitter and your combo of a dotty e/f and pretty postage stamp plaid! Hugs, Darnell

ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely delightful, Lisa. I love the sunny color, the embossed background and that sweet little flower. Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches this week.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card with a definite summery feel! Thanks so much for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a wonderful and classic look! I love the cheerful look of the flower with the plaid and the dots!
ReplyDeleteI loved that sketch, but didn't get an entry made. Maybe I'll use it in the future, though. Just love your summery take with the plaid & sparkly daisy! We were pleasantly surprised that our neighborhood had very few fireworks this year. Fritz just got a little anxious & then laid down on hubby's lap. Made for a much better 4th at our house! We're happy to watch fireworks on TV--no scaring Fritz & no fire danger!
ReplyDeleteSimply sweet....just love the soft pretty yellow and those polka dots in the background!
ReplyDeletebeautiful card..
