Peace & Joy!

I had a little fun today creating with snippets of paper for the Christmas Kickstart Challenge! In fact, I had so much fun, I made two cards!

These were so easy! I layered a scrap of cardstock with an adhesive sheet topped with snippets cut with my paper cutter. Next, I ran it through my die cut machine with an older Top Dog Dies ornament. Not wanting to distract from the focal image, I simply embossed a 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" card base with an older Tim Holtz embossing folder.

And here is card number two. Same paper pad (MME), different snippets!

I see a few more of these in my future.

Too easy and pretty not to use up more bits and pieces!

  9. These are both perfectly sweet, Lisa! I know that embossing folder is probably an older one, but I think I need to see if I can find one. That's the perfect background for these pretty ornaments.

  16. I agree it's fun, Lisa, and a good way to use up what was, in my case, ancient patterned. The dimension you got with those ornaments is fabulous and the embossed background perfect with them.
