It's color week at Just Us Girls where yours truly is hosting! Kraft and white are always wonderful together. Throw in a little pink, even better! I hope you'll join us and our February guest designer, Karen Walker.
A friend (thanks Mari!) recently gifted me an Altenew gift certificate as a get well wish following my hand surgery. I bought a couple of pretty mini bundles. This darling Magnolia Heart was one of them. My coloring could be better in those itty bitty flowers. Gripping the Copic is still a bit tricky, but I'm getting there!
I layered the hearts on my favorite PTI tag. That pretty pink embossed paper was a treat in my birthday card from sweet Michele. Next came the panel cut from a delightful SSS cover plate and finally a pretty little bow (TSM) cut from patterned paper.
I hope I've inspired you to play along!
I look forward to seeing what's in our gallery this week!

So pretty. Fabulous choice of colours… hope I can play. 🤷🏻♀️
ReplyDeleteThat sweet little flowered heart is so you, Lisa. Darling card.
ReplyDeleteAaaack! This is so pretty, you had me at polka dots! A gorgeous card, Lisa!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you are recovering! It's been fun reading your posts from the last month because it is EXACTLY the thought process I had with my broken wrist. Surely I could do die cuts but then how to pick up the small pieces and how to squeeze the glue bottle??! It's surprisingly hard. But we cardmakers persevere and make it work, right?! In terms of the swelling you mentioned - I'm still swollen and my accident was early September. But you are still managing to create your sweet cards. I love your use of the colors. The detailed kraft background with the soft pink banner and hearts is a wonderful combo.
ReplyDeleteI love the colors this week! Your card is so stinking cute! I love that bow! Glad you can grip those copics now.
ReplyDeleteI love all of the added texture on this beauty! That bow is absolutely darling topping off the hearts.
ReplyDeleteRunning late with comments this week; apologies. First, this colour combination was awesome; thank you. Your card: gorgeous! All the more impressive in that you've created it following surgery; now that is perseverance!
