We've had such a busy summer and it's flown by. I can't believe it's August already! That does bring with it a new round of challenges at Just Us Girls. Elizabeth is kicking things off with Die Cut week. She's made it easy... FLORALS! A new month also means a new guest designer. We're tickled pink to have Julie Beech joining us!
After seeing so many of my blogging friends use this pretty Amazing Things set from Pinkfresh Studios, I had to go shopping. Stamps, stencils and dies cuts... oh my! I framed (PTI) this little beauty with shimmery plum and lavender gingham papers. Doing it this way let me create a second card using the opposites of the frame die cuts.
I don't use purple very often, but this sweet gingham paper nudged me in that direction!
Time for you to pick a posey or two and join us this week!

I'm glad that the purple gingham paper nudged you to create two beautiful cards. Your flowers are lovely; the frames, an eye-catching special touch.

Lisa... simply beautiful in purple! Love it.
Both of these are absolutely BEAUTIFUL Lisa! Of course you had me with the gingham, but those florals are SOOOOO pretty and the frame the perfect finishing touch! Lovely, lovely cards my friend!! Hugs. :0)
Two very pretty cards Lisa, don't know which is my favourite, too hard to choose! Shame on all our bloggy friends with enabling us to have to buy new stash! ;)
A couple of gorgeous cards!
Two beautiful cards with that gingham and lovely flower die cut. Your coloring is perfect. I think I like the 2nd one a little better. :)
Lisa, this lavender beauty made me smile! Such pretty feminine elements and your stenciling is perfect! Glad you had that gingham to inspired you to use the colors you did!!!
I feel the same about purple, Lisa - but could never resist that lavender gingham! no way! Two beautiful die-cut floral cards!

Oooh, I like the way the paper nudged you! There is so much beautiful femininity in these cards. Love the pretty Pinkfresh stamp!
Purple and green are a perfect pairing to show off your gorgeous florals, Lisa. Love the scalloped framing. Everyone loves gingham ... it makes the card extra happy! :) xx
Yup that lovely lavender gingham did it! Both cards are so pretty in purple! 💜💜
Purple may not be your forte, but I would've never guessed! I'm loving both cards, even if they are "opposites" -- each has its own special feel to it and they're so pretty
Wonderful floral cards, Lisa! They make me smile! Definitely plan to play along!
Two beautiful cards, the second really caught my eye with the gingham edge and the touches of colour on the leaves xx
I had to get this set too, Lisa! I LOVE the way you've colored it!
Beautiful set of cards, Lisa! Based on these two lovelies you should do purple more often. So nice when you can get a two-fer, as well.
Ohhh two lovely lavender cards. I love the gingham on the first and the EF texture on the second.
