MOJO204 & CR84FN36 ~ A challenging day for challenge cards!

What a day this has been...sheesh!!! First my sweet little Max is still under the weather. My fury guy has been snoozing all day, but moving from place to place to do so. He keeps hearing something and tries to move away from it. Problem is...it's his own little tummy making quite the array of noises! Poor little baby. Nothing icky going on (if you know what I mean!); just an odd tummy issue. Then while working on my challenge cards I got a whopper of a paper cut on my index finger...OUCH! Let's just say it makes tying a tiny little button string bow interesting! Time for dinner ~ the rain stopped and the sun came to say a big bright hello...so I put the charcoal in the grill & lit it. Five minutes later the sun said goodbye, ten minutes later the sprinkles were back and within a half an hour my charcoal was a no go! Uuuugh! Is it tomorrow yet????? So with a delightful day like this I  made the executive decision to roll two challenges into one card; and you know what...I think it worked!

I used the wonderful sketch (that I flipped) from Mojo Monday #204 and the most delightful colors from CR84FN color challenge #36 ( yellow, kraft & neutral). The DPs are from Authentique: Blissful, key & lock are by Renaissance Art Stamps and the corner stamp is Inkadinkado. And there you have it my challenge card made during a very challenging day!!!

Thanks for stopping by; hope I didn't depress you all too much LOL!!! ~ Lisa

Lisa, I just had to pop over and see what's new from you today. :) I love your choice of background paper, and that CR84FN color palette looks PERFECT with it! Sorry the rain ruined your outdoor cooking. :(

Rockin' the challenges again, Lisa! Love these papers and the soft yellow - so pretty! Sorry, but I got a chuckle about the charcoal...man do I hate that finicky stuff! I have hadplenty of days that could not end fast enough so I feel your pain! Hope the furbaby is feeling better real soon, poor thing!

Lisa, so sorry to hear about your trials today...although your story-telling skills are so good you made me smile. I've had the same grilling issues if it makes you feel any better! Anyway, at least your card worked out beautifully today! Way to roll two challenges into one!

This is a great card, Lisa! It's so soft and inviting... makes me think of my mom's house near the beach. I love all the little details - the arch of circles above the keyhole, etc. Really beautiful.

No depression, here! Your collage type card is magnificent. I love how the different elements flow together so perfectly. The lock and key are a great focal point. Upstate NY is having similar weather...we're practically neighbors.

Oh love those colors together. Yellow's not a color I typically use but I sure do love it with kraft and white/cream! I like how you flipped the sketch too=) Very pretty card!
