PT I- Make it Monday #31 ~ Cozy quilt

Hello...I'm back today with a quick post for the Papertrey Ink Make it Monday challenge. Creating our own background with non -background stamps is the task at hand.

I have a dear aunt who is going through radiation and chemo treatments. I thought of a comfy cozy quilt card knowing she's not feeling well. I started with a green cardstock stamping the postage block from Tiny Tags using fresh snow ink.  Next I added the stitched heart; also from Tiny Tags using a plum chalk ink as a connector for the "quilt blocks". To finish off the quilt pattern is the wee flower from Tag-its #3. This was layered with a floral paper from BasicGrey ~ Wisteria to act as the quilt binding. Fillable Frames die, stamp and sentiment along with the Love Lives Here butterfly die to finish things off. Thanks for visiting today ~Lisa

Love your quilt idea! You did an amazing job with creating this bg :) Sorry your aunt is having to go through chemo...this will surely warm her heart.
Thanks for your thoughts on my blog- we are close, but not too close to the fires - at least for now. We are getting the smoke from it though and today was quite bad. It's hard to breathe. Can't imagine what it's like right at the scene :(
