CR84FN #42 ~ Such a Lovely Day!

Hi there! Max and I have been out and about today. Our son is scouting new locations for a second veterinary clinic (I'm so proud of this kid I could shout it from the rooftops!). This being his day off; he invited Max and I to tag along. Such a lovely day we had!!! Just the typical mom and son stuff, laughing, teasing, a quick turn into Steak and Shake at the last minute!!! You know the story..."I haven't been there forever it sure sounds good, you hungry? Burgers and shakes...yeah I could eat!!!" Enjoying every minute of our alone time together. Mr. Max is a great little traveler, content to have a snooze or perk up when the car stops in hopes he gets to hop out and sniff around a bit. Oh I could go on and on I guess LOL! But now down to business with my card for the CR84FN color challenge ~ black, pale pink and neutral. I was really drawn to the stripes and flowers from their inspiration photo.

I used papers from My Mind's Eye: blush collection again. The striped paper was cut with a PTI die then layered with a pretty lace trim from Hobby Lobby and this sweet row of pink flowers trim from Joann's. My bird cage from BasicGrey was stamped with black dye ink and fussy cut. I added a bit of color with a pink marker then mounted it with foam tape for dimension. I added a touch of sparkle with some shiney black dodads and a smidge of glitter. I am very pleased with this one and my hubby gave it two thumbs up!! Thanks for stopping by to visit! ~Lisa
