DeNami Design November Blog Hop ~ 1st Grade Treat Bags!

Hi friends and welcome to the DeNami Blog Hop! If you've come here from Kimberly's  blog you're on the right track. If not head over to the DeNami blog to start at the beginning so you don't miss any of the fun. Our theme for this hop is "anything but a card". My daughter-in-law (the sweetest one on the planet!!!) is a first grade teacher; so I went to work on these fun treat bags and bookmarks she can give to her kiddos as a little Thanksgiving surprise!!! Lady pilgrims for the girls and gentlemen pilgrims for the boys.

It just doesn't get much cuter than the DeNami Thanksgiving Chickies set...love the little indian!  I paired these fun images up with a few of my favorites; the wheat stalks, Thankful for You sentiment & the solid scallop circle. These went together very quickly since I used the assembly line process for each step. I think they're pretty self explanatory ~ easy peasy and sweet!  Here's a run-down of the supplies.  All stamps are DeNami, glassine bags, brown lunch bags, October Afternoon DPs, cream and kraft cardstock, Papertrey Ink fillable frames and notebook page dies, Fiskars scalloped circle punch, My Mind's Eye burlap ribbon, Jillibean Soup twine. And of course a few sweet treats!!!

Your next stop is at Amber's blog. Be sure to visit all of the blogs and comment on each along the way for your chance at one of three $20 DeNami gift certificates!!! You can always head over to the DeNami blog if you lose your place for a complete list of participants and rules. Thanks for hopping by to visit me and have a delightful day! ~Lisa

I love these! I have all those Thanksgiving stamps, but what I love about the way you used them is the choice of colors and papers. They are not the "traditional" fall colors. The kids will love them!

Cute tags and bags -- especially like the texture the burlap adds to the background on the bags. Adorable.
