PDCC #107 ~ Happy Monday!

Happy Monday! Hope everyone had an enjoyable weekend. Ours was laid back and relaxing. I had some quality time in my art studio to put together a couple of challenge projects. I have one today for the latest Play Date Cafe color challenge. Check out this fun picture ~ cute huh!!

I love it when they give us the color splash challenge. Orange isn't a color I use often; but adding a splash of it now and again is always fun. This card is actually one of my more clean and simple but I really like the end result.

I stamped my favorite set of trees from Memory Box on both sides of the card (they actually overlap in the middle!) and on the circle from the PTI limitless layers die set. My orange color was added with a colored pencil. Next I die cut and stamped the Mat Stack 4 die from PTI (it's new and I LOVE it!!!). The orange scalloped circle is also from the PTI limitless layers die set. This center medallion is popped up with foam tape. The Thanksgiving sentiment is by Stampabilities. Thanks for popping in today ~Lisa

Oh, Lisa! What a cool layout! I love the symmetry of it with the trees in the center and on either side, and the patterned ribbon (or is it paper?) across the die cut. Nice job!

Who would have known that orange could be such a wonderful color. Great job showcasing those trees and accenting with the pop of orange.

Lovely splash of orange, Lisa. ;-) Those little trees are adorable, and I love the way you carried the line across by stamping them on the interior circle on the mat stack layer. Great card! ;-)
