A bit of hibernation!

Hi there, hope everyone has a fun weekend planned! What a week I've had ...WHEW!!!

Monday started with our little Max going to the doggy dentist for a routine teeth cleaning; he's 8 it was time. But they found 2 tiny loose teeth way in the back that were extremely loose so out they came. I had a very sleepy whiny pup for a couple of days. Poor little guy wanted to yawn so bad but it hurt  :(  Luckily he bounced back quickly!!!

This was followed by a flurry of laundry and house cleaning trying to get everything just so. Why??? My sweetheart hubs went in for neck surgery Thursday. All went well and he was taken to his room for the overnight stay. It's so difficult to see your best friend, love of your life go through so much pain. He had a very difficult day and night. I stayed there round the clock catching a few minutes sleep here and there in a chair; who cares though he needed me. Friday morning was much better for him. He was able to eat breakfast; well can we really call jello and chicken broth breakfast?!! The requirement to go home was eating a soft solid lunch. Let's just say my guy was on a mission to be sprung ~ heee! Pain meds were in and the soup, rice and chocolate pudding didn't stand a chance! YAY!!!

He was insistent that we pick up his furry boy Max from my mom & dad's on the way home. The car ride went well (even though I had been awake for 35 hours!!!) ~ so I ran in to scoop up his little buddy  ;)  Everyone is happy to be home, snuggled in and ready for a long bit of hibernation!

I'll pop in from time to time over the next couple of weeks; I've made a few cards ahead!  No challenges for me right now as I have taken the role of stay at home nurse! But I plan to visit often there's always inspiration to be absorbed!!!

Thanks for visiting, take care my friends and please keep my special guy in your prayers. ~Lisa

Hi Lisa! So sorry that your hubby had to have surgery, but hopefully this sorts out whatever was worrying him! Yes, I concur, it's definitely not easy to see a loved one hurting. Go off and cuddle up in each others arms, the best medicine! I am trying to play catch up on a few blogs too.

Aww, your poor hubby! I know all about that jello and chicken broth diet. They each taste good -- when it's not the only thing you're allowed to eat! Then, I hate them.

And poor Max, too! Oh, boy, you've had a tiring week, Lisa. That serious lack of sleep must've did you in too.

You ALL will be in my thoughts and prayers, sweetie!

Oh Lisa you have had so much going on this past week. A big hug to you and your boys who need so much of your love and care right now. Make sure you get rest because you won't be any good to anyone without it. You are in my thoughts and we will see you when you are back in your blog. :)
