Happy Sautrday!

Hi friends and happy Saturday! Thought I would pop in to say hello and share a card. It's a cold 28 here today but very sunny. Max and I ventured out for a brisk walk this morning. I think his little paws and my nose were ready to come home after a mile...brrrrr!!!
My card is pretty CAS I suppose, but I like the way it turned out. This fun pine garland is from Inky Antics and is one of my favorites. I used sepia ink then a bit of green chalk on the pine and a colored pencil on the pine cones. The tiny cardinal and single pine sprig are both stamps from Impression Obsession; I snatched them up for a song and a dance last year! My sentiment is by Hero Arts; I think this one is good for so many occasions. The focal image is raised up with foam tape. Like I said clean and simple ~ and might I add quick!

A quick update on my hubby...he's improving little by little! The middle of the week was pretty rough for him. Our son and daughter-in-law came for dinner yesterday and we had a relaxed fun visit. Seeing their smiling faces is always good medicine! Thanks for visiting friends and for your well wishes to my sweetie! Have a delightful weekend!!...~Lisa

Absolutely beautiful Lisa. I love the pine sprig. I am so glad to hear that you ventured out with Max. It is chilly here today, but I didn't venture out.

Oh, lovely, Lisa! That sepia ink is just perfect for this project, and those two pine stamps go together so well. The red of the diecut panel and the cardinals pulls it all together so nicely. Please give your hubby our continued best get well wishes!
