I have a card to share today that I made for the ColourQ challenge this week. I wanted to let my pretty papers speak for themselves, so I opted to stamp just a simple border and sentiment.
I started with a textured Bazzill: wisteria cardstock stamped down the left side with a pretty Anna Griffin flourish. It's layered with a stitched panel and punched edge piece of MME: Hattie paper. Next I used a shimmery cardstock to cut a PTI: Mat Stack 4 die. My sentiment from Stampendous was inked up with a Tombow marker. It was a perfect match to my ribbon that just so happens to be what we used on the favor tins at my son & daughter-in-law's wedding! Speaking of blessings; they're two of my greatest!!! The oval and scalloped oval are Marvey punches.
It turned out kind of elegant don't you think? Hope everyone has a splendid weekend ~Lisa

Beautiful papers, but it is how you laid the card out that makes it shine. I would say very elegant Lisa. Stay in out of the snow and stay warm.
Such gorgeous colors, and what a fantastic way to use them. And to make it even better, what a nice touch to use the ribbon from your son's wedding.
WONDERFUL take on those colors Lisa!!! LOVE your card!
+ Thanks so much for your support - your kind words about me joining the Lily Pad cards team really made my day. THANKS!

I saw the card before I read your words and immediately thought how rich and elegant the papers and design were and then I read you were keeping the focus on the rich papers! It worked!!
