When I saw the first color name here; the vision of a little one going to visit grandma came to mind! Grandma would put on this pretty apron and bake something yummy for her little visitor. So I pulled out this sweet little stamp from Past Time Stamps and went to work on a wee Red Riding Hood card. Now I know she doesn't have a hood or a picnic basket; but I do think she's on her way to see grandma!
The red and light mustard tone papers are all Cosmo Cricket and the olive polka dot is My Minds Eye. I used a couple of Spellbinders 18 dies to make a frame for my wee Red who was stamped with PTI fresh snow ink onto kraft cardstock and fussy cut. She's mounted with foam tape. The kraft & white lace trims are both from Hobby Lobby. My favorite new heart border die and the beautiful blooms ll die (felt flower) are from PTI. The teeny flower (fresh snow ink) and leaf sprig (olive ink) along with my unseasonal toadstools are all Stamps by Judith. I stamped the toadstools with red ink then used a white Prisma pencil on the top portion and an olive marker on the stem. They're nested among the ribbon bits from Archivers with foam tape.
So there you have it...my wee Red on her way to grandma's house! Hope you have a delightful weekend ~Lisa

Golly Lisa, you always come up with the cutest concepts! I love your use of the colors here. That plaid is perfect with the lace border and the heart border and Labels 18 die. It looks like she is strolling through the woods and passing through a covered gate!
