Hello hoppers! If you've come here from Linda Nomura's blog you're on track. If not you can always head on over to the DeNami Design blog to get headed in the right direction.
I have a sweet/traditional Valentine card to share today and am so pleased with the way this turned out!
I started with a white cardstock base then added a polka dot (gotta love em'!) panel with paper from Jillibean Soup that was punched with a Martha Stewart lattice punch. I cut my own heart template and attached it to my card. Then using the sweet tiny DeNami lady bug; I stamped it all around the edge of my template then removed it. I couldn't have planned the size of my heart any better, the lady bugs fit perfectly around the edge...just a fluke it worked out that way!!! Next I stamped a portion of the small solid scalloped circle on the top corners of my card. My scalloped tulip was stamped onto white cardstock then punched with a Marvey scalloped circle punch. After coloring my tulip with markers I flooded the punched piece with a Quickie Glue pen and sprinkled on the glitter. This is attached to the center of my heart with foam tape for dimension. A small puff of shimmery tulle and a couple of buttons dress the card up nicely!
That's it for me friends. Now head on over to the extremely talented Lisa Petrella's blog where I'm sure she has something simply delightful to share with all of you!
Thanks for stopping by and happy hopping ~Lisa
