This deep rich burgundy damask is from the MME Lost and Found: Christmas collection. I used a medium scallop border die from PTI on the top edge. Next I punched several scalloped squares with a fun Martha Stewart punch from this old gold floral paper from Basicgrey's: Wisteria collection. I lined them up and stamped them with Hero Arts leafy vine stamp using eggplant chalk ink. Then I embossed them with clear embossing powder. My sentiment by Stampendous is stamped with the same chalk ink and also embossed. A few gold gems to add to the regalness (is that a word ~hee!) of my card finally brought a sigh of relief.
When all is said and done on this one I look back at the challenge it gave me and it was worth it. It's good to push the old creative brain from time to time! And trust me; this weekend my brain felt old!!!
Have a pleasant day friends ~Lisa

Oh, Lisa, I'm so glad you persevered--it's a gorgeous card! I love the tiny ivy vine that goes across the punched bits, and the bling between each one!
Hi Lisa! Love your CAS design and how you incorporated all the scallops! A lovely design !
What a lovely card, and fabulous paper choices! Thanks too for linking up at CAS-ual Fridays!
Oh, Lisa, this is stunning! I'm totally with you on this color story! It was uber difficult for me, too! But you ROCKED it! Thanks so much for playing along with us this week at The Play Date Cafe!
This is so fabulous! :) I am not sure that I'll be able to do these colors...creative block on this one! So kudos to you for pulling it off! ;) PS: Got your email--thank you!!!
Awesome result! Love the gold and your CAS design!
Another stunner Lisa. I really love this card and how you handled this palette. Not in my comfort zone.
So ELEGANT and BEAUTIFUL! LOVE your card Lisa!
Hugs, Karin
It did turn out good, Lisa, it really did! I especially like that leafy vine...kind of looks like you punched it out, instead of stamped it. I had to look very closely! And way to combine challenges...get the most bang for your buck. ;)
Thanks for playing with us at The Play Date Cafe!
This is so pretty! I love the vine! And those scallops are a perfect border! Thanks so much for playing along at CAS-ual Fridays!
Simply stunning!!! I love the scalloped edge. Thanks for playing with us at The Play Date Cafe!
Lovely CAS design Lisa!
This is a really lovely card, Lisa. I love the bigger scallops with the small scalloped squares, especially with the patterns on each. I had a really hard time with these colors. Actually, I think I'm just having a lull in my creativity lately - don't know why. Not excited about it, and feeling like everything I make is forced, rather apathetically, too. Hang in there, girl! ;-) This too shall pass, eh?
This is soooo pretty!! Lovely job with the colors! Thanks for playing at The Play Date Cafe! and the scallops are pure loveliness :) Thanks for getting your CAS on at CAS-ual Fridays!
I struggled with these colors also! I really like your take of the colors-gorgeous work, Lisa. ;)
I love what you put about 'royal fits' Lisa, so funny! You did a perfect job with the colours. It's funny how we find some colour palettes so much easier than others!
Gorgeous love the deep rich colors. Love that you kept it simple. So pretty the way the vine connects!
Gorgeous card, Lisa. I am loving the CAS look. Most of the cards today are over embellished. Your card is just utterly beautiful. They say there is beauty in simplicity...your card is proof! I've had lots of 'old brain' days.
Oh so pretty and elegant! Absolutely love this design! Thanks so much for playing with us at CAS-ual Fridays!!
This is so pretty! LOVE those scalloped squares! Great take on our color story! THANKS for playing along with us over at the PDCC:)
