CFC #43 ~ Sweetness!

Hi there! I'm getting this card in under the wire for the CAS-ual Fridays challenge. My mojo has been in slow motion for the last couple of days. But I couldn't let this one slip by as the ever so sweet Julie Ranae is stepping down from the design team. The challenge this week is to make our sentiment front and center. Here's my take on it.

This one's for you Julie as you have always spread sweetness and encouragement in your comments on my blog. Your work continues to inspire me every time I pop in to visit your Open Window. My sentiment stamp is from Hero Arts and the ever so cute cupcake is Stamps by Judith ~ they're colored with markers and then "frosted" with fruit punch Stickles! A few snippets of scrap paper and some heart buttons to show Julie a little love, then finished off with a touch of bling.

That's it for me friends ~Lisa

Lisa, this is "sweetness" embodied!! What a great layout for this sentiment card. And aren't those heart buttons so fun? They are the perfect touch! I hope your mojo catches up again--although, from the looks of things, you had no mojo-trouble making this card!!

Lisa ,this might be my up to date favorite of yours . I think this is the sweetest card, not sure what I love so much about this one, I guess everything! The pink gingham with the red, the buttons , Judith’s cupcakes, and the sentiment! I declare you the winner right NOW…. If that could count :) I say enter it in a magazine or something.

Awwwww, this card is so sweet. (obviously - haha!) I love your front-and-center sentiment with those adorable little cupcakes and heart buttons. Love the peeks of scallop and pinked edge, too. Very lovely. ;-)

My fav part of this are the little embellies and how they start small at the top and get bigger at the bottom. It really draws your eye in. Beautiful CAS card Lisa :)

I'm finally back, and look at all the great cards I missed! Actually, I didn't miss them--I saw all your cards while I was gone but commenting was just too difficult while I was away so decided to wait until I returned. I really love this card! You have outdone yourself here--I love the gingham scalloped strip with the sweet sentiment and cupcakes on top, and the spill of hearts off the end! Just a darling card!
