Good morning friends! While making my last card with those fun parachuting chickies; I inked the little fella up several more times to make a card for the latest DeNami challenge ~ One Layer Cards. I used to make them all of the time but then became seriously addicted to the 6x6 paper pads! So it was fun to get back to basics; stamping 101 if you will!!
I used chalk and my little cloud template to create the sky followed with chalk for the grass area. The wispy grass at the bottom is from the Under the Sea set. I stamped the chickies in black ink, colored with a Tombow marker then Stickled their parachutes in a rainbow of sparkly colors. I split the sentiment to stamp in two place (sorry it's a bit off kilter!) and trailed it with the Teeny Swiss Dot stamp. Just a playful card that went together very quickly. Oh, my, isn't this cute? ONe layer cards are hard to do once you've been bitten by the 'more stuff and layers' bug. This, however, doesn't even look like a OLC! There is so much to look at with all those cute chickies and the pretty sky and ground surrounding them. Well done, Lisa!
