CFC #51 & RS #10 ~ Happy Birthday!

Hi! I hope everyone had a pleasant weekend. My hubs and I had quiet together time and walks with Max! I snuck in a bit of crafting while they snuck in a nap! Today I have a card to share for the CAS-ual Fridays birthday celebration and I've used Retro Sketches to put it together.

This fun sketch was perfect to showcase this pretty October Afternoon paper. The stripe is the flip side. I used a circle punch to notch out a small spot for my ruffly Offray ribbon from Hobby Lobby. I attached two PTI tiny tags with a vintage safety pin. I love these little red flower gems, don't they add just the right touch of bling!

 Happy birthday Cas-ual Fridays!!! ~Lisa

Awwwwww, so cute! This one is a real winner! You have done marvelous things with this sketch--love the way you matched the flower bling with the patterned paper! And using the safety pin as a loop to hold two tags--genius!

Love, love, love, Lisa! The pop of red is gorgeous! I think I've got too many layers on the 2 cards I've made for this challenge...I'll still show and link, but I'm thinking I need to go back to the drawing board...thanks for inspiring me to keep it simple!! :)

Hi, again! The label is from the Stampin' Up! set Everything Eleanor. Currently only available in the UK. I have a dear blogging friend who sent it overseas to me!!! We swapped sets--I sent her some from here. :) Maybe it'll be in the new catty this summer???

Your card is so sweet, Lisa! You know, I have that same OA patterned paper. I really need to pull it out and use it. It does no good wasting away on the shelf, right? Thanks for the lovely reminder!!!
