PDCC #130 & FMS #33 ~ Happy Birdy!

Hi there! I have a card today that just tickles my fancy and I don't think I could mail it to anyone ~ I just like it so much! HA!!! Is that being stingy!?! Oh well maybe having a picture of it should suffice huh. I put this one together using the new colors of dolphin, salmon and sea glass from the Play Date Cafe and by following the new design from Freshly Made Sketches.

Isn't this Tessatina die by Memory Box fun! I bought this at the stamping convention last weekend. I used a tiny polka dot paper from MME: sunshine collection for it. Next I layered on this pretty birdcage paper from the BasicGrey: porcelain collection (don't tell but I've been hoarding this one for a while!). My scalloped circle die cut is PTI: limitless layers stamped with the vine wreath from their tag-it's #3 set. And this oh so sweet tin pin is from Darcie. And lastly my little focal cluster of buttons would not be complete without a PTI tiny tag.

I do think I"ll hold onto this one for awhile! Wishing you happiness ~Lisa

No, you are not stingy in the least--it is a beautiful card! I love all the soft, pretty details! If you do decide to turn it loose, it would be perfect for a baby card!

Yike! I forgot to acknowledge your lace donation on my recent card, and I had intended to mention it but forgot. That is really cool stuff--I need to track down a giant reel of it! As for the ricrac--it was a gift from my Mom, so I'm being careful of my usage.

I know just what you mean about loving a card too much to give away! And I don't think that's stingy - at least I hope it's not! And your right to love this one. The soft colors and beautiful interpretation of the sketch are fantastic! Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches!

Lisa, you are so sweet! Thanks for the offer but I have a HL less than 4 miles from my house, so I can pick up the ribbon myself now that I know where you got it--thanks! I know what you mean about temptation: in my area there are several Michaels (one within 2 miles) and Hobby Lobbys, as well as a couple of JoAnns and even two Archiver's! I'm constantly being tempted to exceed my limits.

This is so pretty, Lisa. I love how you've used the colors, and I LOVE that background die cut! I've been seeing lots of Memory Box and Cheery Lynn dies around. I ordered a trio of butterflies from Cheery Lynn last week, and I think they are fabulous! I love all the details. I think I'm going to have to get some more Memory Box dies as well. Nice job on your beautiful card, my friend. ;-)
