Well today is Saturday and that means a new colour combo from Dynamic Duos! With this being the fifth week of the month we have a fun Mix and Match combination for you to try ~ Crumb Cake and YOUR CHOICE! Yep that's right...you get to pick the second colour for your own creative Dynamic Duo! I'm really looking forward to seeing what you all put together.
I fanned out numerous pieces of cardstock and decided I was once again in a pink frame of mind! I kept coming back to the combination of Crumb Cake and Rose Red. I added two panels of MME: Madison Ave paper (this pretty creamy/black sheet music) onto a panel of Rose Red wrapped with button twine. This went onto my Crumb Cake card base and was topped with a PTI: mat stack 5 stamped die cut. I used Memento: Rose Bud ink and I think it's a spot on match. Put this ink on white and it's very bright, but on the darker color it tones down quite a bit. A circle die cut using the MME sheet music paper was topped with my new SU punched/stamped bird and branch set. Isn't it cute! I used a PTI: tiny tag and sentiment added to my label with a twine bow and brad. With the text on my sweet little bird I felt a small sentiment was in order. You've probably recognized the sketch I used. I'm entering this one into the Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

Oh Lisa, this is really, really cute! I love the way you have showcased that bird, with the label die cut and the sprays of leaves. Looks great against that musical background! And you are right, the smaller sentiment on the cute tag works perfectly!
