FMS #40 ~ Happy Summer!

Hello and a happy summer! It's felt like summer around here for weeks...months with our mild winter and extremely warm spring. But according to the official calender it became summer just a few days ago. So now I can REALLY wish you all a happy summer! Who came up with that calender anyway!!??!! I'm entering this summery card into the Freshly Made Sketches challenge. Almost missed it again. I really need to make a challenge calender!! Maybe the person who decided when summer starts could do that for me ~ tee hee!!

Isn't my little "seed spitter" bunny by Stampendous the cutest little fella! My SIL (aka: stamping buddy) bought this one for me a while back. I fussy cut him and then added him to a Spellbinders labels 10 die. This sweet floral paper is from The Girls Paperie; the polka dots are the reverse side. The extra little wedges of watermelon are DeNami. I fussy cut those too and added them to my card with foam tape. My Savvy Stamps sentiment is stamped on a PTI double ended banner die cut and then there are my gems and Stickles for sparkle.

For the record my hubs likes this one! I think he's partial to my pink cards, seems to like them the best...but don't tell cuz he might not think that sounds manly ~HA!!

THANK YOU, THANK YOU for all of the well wishes on our sweet little Max. He's almost back to his silly little self. He remains ridiculously cute even when he's feeling poorly. The toughest part of this is cutting out his treats. Oh the 8:00 pm mooching hour has been tough on the little guy!  The nightly routine consists of this...He finds his squeaky tennis ball, stands in the kitchen, rears his head back, gives it a good squeak or two and throws the ball down. That's supposed to be our cue! Oh yes he's a hoot this one is. Then he proceeds to camp out there until he gets his little (and they are tiny!) goodie or two or three! But for now those goodies have become thawed frozen baby peas! He does enjoy them, but I don't really think he's going to go for this stunt much longer. The boy loves his crunchy little bones. Luckily for us grain free foods and treats are becoming much more popular. But we have to take all of the changes slowly so we don't throw is little tummy into a tizzy.

Thanks for hanging with me for this long post! ~Lisa

Oh this is cute a cute card, that image is so so sweet Lisa and of course the polka dot paper. ;) Glad to hear Max is feeling better, our Sam has his treat cue too usually sparked by me getting ice water from the ice maker and him running to stand by his cupboard and wagging his tail. Aren't little dogs funny?
