CQC #154 & RS #28 ~ Forever!

Another busy day...I'm on a role! Yesterday was full of errands, this and that in all directions and a visit from my sweet mom! She stopped by to bring me a precious gift. I have this thing for glass pitchers. I don't have a big collection of them, maybe 4 or 5, but I just think they're so pretty and delicate. And I like small ones! Anyway she gave me a pitcher that was my great grandmothers ~ squeal!!! The pitcher had been a Christmas gift to my great grandmother from her sisters. Love knowing the story behind family treasures..I'm very sentimental.

So this morning I set out to finish the card for the ColourQ & Retro Sketches challenges that I couldn't get back to yesterday. I'll give this to my mom who is the best treasure and I'll love her forever.

When I saw this sketch I knew one of Andrea's digi images from the Vintage Love collection would work perfectly on this card. The filigree border is by PTI and the vintage flourish and royal rose are MFT. I cut the leaves and bow from felt and sprinkled on assorted sizes of pearls.

Today is the last day of the DT introductions at The Creative Paper Trade and Cherry Nelson is our final member. She has a fun shabby project there along with some fun facts too!  I hope you'll stop by to say hi and enter for the free goodies.

Ok friends I'm back to work ~ HA! Dusting is done, kitchen floor mopped, laundry is in, banana bread is out of the oven and the vacuum awaits! And hey it's only 1:30...I might get some more crafting in today! Hope your day is a pleasant one ~Lisa

PS... check out this little beauty!!!

Wow! Your housework is done?! I'm afraid I'm just about to get started on mine! Company coming too! :) I'm such a procrastinator! LOL! Thankfully, I had things picked up and put back in order for some evening guests on Wednesday, so things are TOO bad around here!
Love all the little elegant details on your card today! The pearls are just perfect!!! That's one beautiful pitcher too! :)
