RS #29 ~ Just Because!

Well it's official...the hubs has strep throat...poor guy. Thank goodness he has the week off. Let's just keep our fingers crossed that I can fend it off! Lots of down time for us the next few days, nap time for him = card making for me! How about something cute for Retro Sketches this week. When I saw the sketch I knew I would be seeing several cards using the PTI take 3 die. I decided to use mine too!! I bought the darn thing and hardly ever use it, so it made perfect sense to use it here.

My DPs are by Simple Stories and the heart border is also PTI. This adorable lion is from Stamps by Judith and I just love him to pieces! I colored him with markers then added glitter gel pen strokes to his mane. Buttons, gems and a tiny sentiment by Savvy Stamps to finish things off.

So glad you took the time to visit today ~ Lisa

Oh no , Strep is just the worst! Glad your hubs has the week off.
Love the added heart boarder and the placement of the buttons, too cute Lisa. I see Stamps by Judith on this sweet card. I think you are the only other person I have ever seen using her stamps. I love them.

That little lion is so cute peeking out of those windows! I have that die too, I should pull it out and use it more.

Oh no!! :-S I'm so sorry to hear about your Sweetheart. Strept is no fun at all! I hope he recovers quickly, and I hope you don't have to get it. Take care!

Your card is beautiful. ;-) I hardly ever use my Take Three die, either, so it was fun to use it on this sketch. Nice job. ;-)
