DD #28 ~ All Hearts!

Hi there! Did you ever have one of those crafty days where it took you an eternity to create a card? Oh my word I didn't think I would ever finish this. What started out as a simple plan evolved into a major ordeal!! Glued this crooked, stamped that crooked, tear up, start over...ugh!!! Anyway I think I finally came up with an except-able card for this weeks Dynamic Duos challenge using Sahara Sand and Cherry Cobbler.

I started with the trio of MFT monarch border die cuts, then tied the ribbon to the panel and gussied up the knot with MS pine punches, button twine and a tiny jingle bell. Next I stamped some pine boughs onto the panel using kraft ink for a very subtle border behind my PTI  Love Lives Here: holiday angel. She's stamped with kraft ink as well and popped up with foam tape. I curved her wings for added interest. Another tiny cluster of pine and ribbon was added to her ornament. My sentiment is on a PTI double ended banner die. I offset it to match the upper ribbon treatment.

Okay off to run a couple of errands and shake off my crazy crafty morning! ~Lisa

Well, I hate to say it, but it feels like that is how MOST of my cards evolve! Ack. :-S

Sorry you had such an ordeal, but this really is beautiful. I love the triple monarch border at the top, adorned with the pine and ribbon & jingle bell (so cute!). The angel in kraft is perfect with those little touches of ribbon and pine as well. Way to stick with it! Glad you could join Dynamic Duos this week, too. ;-)

Love your details, Lisa! The "bouquet" that your angel is holding is so sweet. You can really tell a lot of effort went into this one. Finally getting a chance to catch up on some blog posts, and wanted to thank you so much for your words of sympathy on my blog last week. They really mean a lot to me!
