DeNami November Blog Hop ~ Thankful!

Hello and welcome! It's that time again...another DeNami Blog Hop! With Thanksgiving knocking at our door we have been given the theme of Thoughtful Thank Yous. You should be arriving here after viewing the awesome talents of Dana Seymour. If not you can always pop over to the DeNami blog to find your way. I decide to make my thank you into a little gift rather than a card ~ take a peek.

Edit: This project was chosen for publication in the Oct. issue of
 Create: Holidays!

I started this cornucopia by tracing and cutting a circle onto my kraft cardstock. Next I formed it into a cone and adhered it with score tape. I rolled my square paper doily and tucked it inside leaving the top edge showing. I've stamped a band of cardstock using the small wheat stalks (one of my favs!) and punched one edge.

Next I stamped my turkey, colored him with markers and punched him out with an oval Marvey punch. Another gobbler was stamped, placed on top with a pop dot, then all were backed with a scalloped Marvey punched.

A few MFT die cut Autumn leaves are tucked behind the oval. I stamped a portion of a sentiment to let the recipient know I'm thankful for them and stamped a bit more of the wheat here too. I stamped the large Decorative Flourish three times and fussy cut the largest flourish from each image. And let me tell you...they are fussy to cut! Scraps of this and that to decorate. And let's not forget the chocolate!!!

Okay friends next up on the hop is the confessed DeNami addict herself...the delightful Wendy Harrill! I appreciate your visit and hope you'll stop back sometime soon. Take a peek at the rules below for all of the info you need to grab yourself a great DeNami gift certificate! ~Lisa
