DeNami December Blog Hop!

Hello and welcome! I have a fun packaging project for the December DeNami blog hop! You should be arriving here from Deb W.'s  blog and I'm sure she had something simply delightful to share! If you get lost along the way or would like to start at the beginning you can check in at the DeNami blog at any time. Anyone for a little powdery sweet treat!!??!!

I had this pail on hand, something I had picked up at Hobby Lobby, and knew it would be perfect for this project. I've stamped the Small Curly Christmas Tree at even intervals along the 11" side of a strip of white cardstock. Between this I stamped the fun little stocking hat from the Petit Four: Ice Skating set. After coloring the images I sort of fussy cut along the top creating a fun curvy edge and used an EK Sucess border punch on the bottom edge. Next I added some glitter using a Quickie glue pen and fine glitter. This is attached to the pail with score tape and accented with a peppermint stripe ribbon.

I hand cut my own tag using the same white cardstock and stamped the Whimsical Ornament Trio onto it. I stamped the image again and fussy cut the tiny ornaments to pop them up on the tag. Peppermint stripe ribbon and some DeNami twine for pizazz! A final curly tree was added to the lid of the pail then the goodies were added!

Okay next on the list of designers is the divine Paulina Nakamura and I just know she will knock your socks off! Thanks for hopping by today! ~Lisa

What, you cut your own tag?! No die, cutter or other packaged materials? Are you allowed to do that? Hahaha, I don't know why it is that I have never thought to do that. It's left me frustrated when I didn't have the right size too. Well, thanks for the tip! Beautiful packaging!
