PP #125 & RS # 41 ~ Noel!

The first Noel the angels did say Was to certain poor shepherds in fields as they lay...ahhh...I just love Christmas music! And I love pretty Christmas paper. This MME: All is Bright collection is so pretty. There are many many sheets that can be used for more than Christmas cards...bonus!!! But I did use it for a Christmas card today, a card for two challenges actually. The colors of The Paper Payers (which by the way I love) and Retrosketches!

I started by die cutting this pretty poinsettia section of the paper with my PTI spiral notebook and warmed the edges with a chalk ink. I attached a snippet of a paper doily to the right side, then added this to another pretty panel from the paper collection. It's backed with yet another sweet polka dot paper (chalk ink on their edges too). I die cut (Memory Box) this darling ornament and popped it up with foam tape. Buttons and pearls to decorate. As you can see I sort of scrunched the sketch a tad, but I was having heck of a time with all of the empty space at the top! This way I had just a little bit of space and it was perfect for my sentiment. Hope it still qualifies!

I hope your week is off to a great start. I plan to do some Christmas shopping now that all of the decorating is finished! Take care ~Lisa

Beautiful use of that paper! It's gorgeous as it is - but the addition of the doily and the die cut is the perfect card!!

Beautiful! I remember that pretty paper from one of the 12 kits. Gorgeous! I love that you used the notebook die, great way to use the paper again. Such a pretty grouping of buttons next to the ornament.
