PTI Anniversary Day #2!

This is my second post for today. If you are looking for my 10 minute Craft Dash card please scroll down!

What a beautiful sunny day we had! Still quite a nip in the air but the sunshine made up for that! I had a phone call this morning asking for a lunch date from you know who ~ oh how I love my son!!! After a few quick errands I set out to make a card using one of the free images given to us today by the girls at PTI. Take a peek...

There is not one bit of stamping on this card! I used snippets of the same paper (Crate Paper) that I had on my desk from yesterday's card. Then I added a few die cuts, a square doily and pearls. Really very quick and easy, but I like the result!

That does it for me off to check out the other creations over at PTI.
Blessings ~Lisa

I LOVE this card, Lisa. ;-) That doily in the background with the filigree border is so lovely, and I love how you framed out this little image. I keep wondering what to do with it! Don't think I'll get to it. The felt hearts and pearls are perfect little touches. You did a fantastic job on this! ;-)

Forgot to say... glad you had lunch with your son. ;-) And doesn't the sunshine work wonders for the soul?? Even in the dead of Winter, it always makes me happy to see it.

Lisa this is a combination of beautiful and funky. The party list paper and the filigree border, it all goes together wonderfully!

You did a marvelous job with the tag, Lisa. Backing it with the floral paper and adding the border in red is a fabulous mix of bold and delicate.

I don't like the result...I love it! I have always believe a beautiful card can result without stamping! It's all in the craft in the hands of the creator no matter how it's done! You have proved that here! :-)
