DD #47 & FMS #81 ~ You're my Sunshine!

Hi there I'm back again with another card. Two post today can you believe it! For my DeNami product spotlight please scroll down! Hubby is working overtime so I took advantage of a rainy afternoon to get crafty! I put this little number together for two challenges ~ Dynamic Duos and Freshly Made Sketches. I just love the aqua blue and red color combo and this is a really cute sketch. In fact it needed someone really cute in it. Take a look...

Yep that's right...my ridiculously cute mini schnauzer stamp! My sweet boy Max has taken to the bathroom rug because he's NOT a fan of thunder. Poor little baby. I spoiled him and took his dish in there for him to eat his dinner *wink* !! Now if the thunder will say bye bye for a while maybe we can get in a quick walk!

Okay about this card. I started with a pool party base topped with an embossed white panel. The sweet gingham paper is MME and the Washi tape is OA. I thought this sentiment suited my little guy perfectly it's from Precious Remembrance. Isn't that little fire hydrant brad fun! I picked a few of those up eons ago on an outing with my SIL (aka: stamping buddy). And we all know that furry little boy pups are official fire hydrant inspectors  ~ HA!!!

Thanks for visiting ~Lisa

Hi Lisa! I hope poor Max had a better day and the storms passed. :( Your card is just TOO cute! Love that little schnauzer stamp and the bitty hydrant brad is awesome. You showcased the DD colors beautifully. Big hugs! :)

"Really cute" is an understatement, Lisa! You did a fantastic job with these two challenges!! (I hope the thunder ended quickly for poor Max's sake!)

How adorable, Lisa--love every element of this card--especially the pup, of course! Keesha never has minded the thunder--the rustle of paper bags terrified her--go figure! Our other guys all hated thunder & I'd have to cover the crate with a blanket in order for them to feel safe. Hope it's over & Max is ready for his walk!

Great card! Love the mini schnauzer and the butterflies! Super fun colours! I love that fire hydrant brad!!!! My mom took our dog into the bathroom during her first storm and after that she would cower in the bathroom every time she heard thunder!

Very cute card! I have three minis at home. One needs drugs for thunder, one does well with a thunder shirt and the last (puppy) is still oblivious. I'm always looking for schnauzer card ideas and yours is a great one! TFS.

Awww, poor guy! I know how he feels - I always want to hide out during thunder storms, too. ;-)

This card is so adorable, Lisa. I absolutely LOVE it in these colors. It's funny, I always think of you when I see red and aqua combos - I don't know why. You do use this combo beautifully, though. That's probably why.

Love this little image, and the sweet sentiment. Love what you did with the DP and washi tape! And that little brad is just too cute. Love it!

Thanks so much for joining us at Dynamic Duos this week. ;-)

Cute, cute, CUTE! And such a perfect take on the challenges! Our Summer hates thunder and lightning, too. Poor thing shakes and wines and has to be where we are. She comes in our bedroom in the middle of the night, and the only way she can be consoled is by my hubby reaching down to lay his hand on her head. It's so sad ;).
