FFC #8 ~ Noel!
Hello! I know it's hard to think of making a holiday card with Memorial Day fast approaching, but I wanted to play along at Festive Friday to get another card tucked away in my stash. The theme for this challenge is the trigger word {sweet}. I used a sweet little gingerbread man die cut I've had for years along with some peppermint candies paper as my version of sweet on this card!
Isn't he a cute little fella. I bought him many years ago at a teaching supply store. When hosting a large extended family Christmas party, I decorated a tree with lots of them and had the family member names on the tummy! I stamped some holly leaves to decorate him then added rhinestones as the berries. A few die cut holly leaves were added to my jingle bell adorned bow. A tiny tag holds a simple sentiment. I thought this would be a cute card to add to a plate of Christmas cookies!

I love how classy AND sweet this is! The cream leaves, little tag and that gorgeous bow...with a cutie gingerbread guy cut, stamped and blinged. Genius! The candy paper is the bomb too ;)
Lisa, this is adorable! Isn't it funny how something can hang around for so long and then all of a sudden it's exactly what you need? I love everything about this card - the layout, the papers, the jingle bells.. and cream holly! It's perfect! Thanks for playing with us this week, I am so glad to see you!!
Ok, this is totally adorable! I bet your house looked amazing and festive with those little guys and what a fun treat it must have been to find your name on one!
This card is right up my alley girl! I love anything "candy themed" at Christmas. One of my trees is a candy tree, and I love love love the red and white...love the doily and of course as I have stated love the cutie. Ok, so I love it all!!!
This is soo cute, Lisa!
Love all teh bestufiul details on this - the ribbon and bells and the beautiful vintage-y feeling colours! Thanks for playing along with Festive Friday!
Well, personally, I like to put off all my Christmas projects until the last possible moment and then run around like a chicken without her head, right??! Ack!
But your 'sweet' Christmas-in-May card is beautiful. I love the doily in the background, with all the happy polka dots. ;-) That little gingerbread man is adorable! And I love the ribbon with the jingle bells trim. You always use those Tiny Tags so wonderfully. Great job on this one, too. ;-)
What a sweet card! I love the layout and just everything about it...great card! :0)
Utterly delicious idea. Lucky person who receives this card with a plate of cookies. I'll be happy to furnish an address to send this to.
Oh, Lisa...I LOVE this! Love the sweet pattern and the cute little man on it! And I agree with Meredith...love the cream holly and bow with the red and gingerbread brown. It's really beautiful!
