Now you might be wondering why I have a pie on this birthday card. It just so happens that my apple pie is my hubby's fave and he's had it on his birthday instead of a cake a few times! This cute pie slice is from the Thanksgiving Dinner stamp set. I stamped the apples along the top and bottom of my card then colored them in with colored pencils. The little highlight was added with a white gel pen. Two strips of Lime Washi tape followed this step. I die cut a circle then stamped the apples around the edge followed with the glittery pie slice in the center. It was backed with another gingham paper die cut. The happy birthday sentiment was the finishing touch. You can easily change this card up using the pear from the set. My mom used to make pear pies, we had a pear tree in our yard!
