DeNami September Blog Hop ~ Howdy!

Welcome! Yep you're in the right place, I just gave myself a sweet little blog make-over!! Can you believe September is upon us? A new month means a new blog hop with DeNami Design. I knew right way I wanted to use the new camping chickie in my design. He's so cute peeking out of his little pup tent! Woodsy and rustic, perfect for the kraft challenge! I popped up a portion of the tent with foam tape. Before adding the tape, I crinkled up the stamped piece to give it a more rustic worn look.

I parked my little fella in the great outdoors under a starry night. Perhaps he's on a cattle drive, maybe he's made the trip to the bottom of the grand canyon, he could be a scout going for his wilderness badge, or you never know he might be on the lamb from the law ~ HA!! You decide or come up with a story of your own!! 

 

I've used stamps from two petit four sets to create my scene. The cactus from this one along with the sentiment from this one. See those little "rocks" I added at the base of the cacti? They were made by masking off part of my fave polka dot decorative butterfly!!! 

And speaking of polka dots, I just couldn't resist adding a polka dot moon! This one was made with the polka dot circle and a one inch punch! To give my card a bit of pop I swiped white ink across my dry embossed stars and edged the  stamped panel with it as well. This panel is also raised with foam tape.
