Miss Me?

Hi there, do you miss me?? Do you wonder where I've run off to?? Nowhere....I'm still here!!! I'm just being an overprotective mommy to a certain little Mini Schnauzer who had a little surgery. My sweet boy Max was due for a dental cleaning and they removed a tumor from his chest while he was under. It's been there for a while now, but was growing rather quickly. The first cell biopsy that was done several months back show that it is a fatty tumor. It was sent off to be sure, no news on that yet.

So anyway my little fur baby has an incision about 2 1/2" long with 8 staples that runs down his chest. I KNOW RIGHT!!! Hey...2 1/2"' doesn't sound that big, but he's only 15" long!!!

How do you keep an energetic dynamo to be calm cool and collected when there are so many squirrels scampering about, blue jays landing on his roof right outside his window and big black crows that dare to enter his turf LOL!!! Trust me, you would never know by this little guy's antics that he's had anything done! He even wants to run and pounce on his big green ball. Oh how much can this mommy's nerves handle!!!

So that's what I've been up to for the last few days. But I'll be back tomorrow morning with a new color combo and fall card for the ColourQ. Have a good evening! ~Lisa

Oh, my gracious! What a cutie pie! LOVE that he's bouncing back so brilliantly! Praying those results show nothing at all. Take care of him, mommy.

I so love little schnauzers - that was my beloved family dog growing up. But I really don't know how you slow them down - it just doesn't seem possible!

I have a toy schnauzer that I simply love too! His name is Baxter and he weighs a little less than 5 lbs. He recently broke his leg and had to have it in a cast for 14 weeks so I know exactly how much trouble an injured puppy can be. I think it rained every day during that 14 weeks making it very difficult to take him out. But we both survived and are back to normal as I hop you and Max will be too soon.

My dog is like that, he's never happier than when he's running after a squirrel, although to this day he's never quite got to it!
