cQc #209 ~ Love You a Bunch!

October...my goodness where does the time go? The leaves are getting more colorful with every passing day. Halloween decorations are popping up in the neighborhood and the days are growing shorter. Less time outside means more time inside for crafting! That's one bright spot of colder weather! Arielle has given us a new color palette at the ColourQ so perfect for this time of year. A beautiful blue such as the autumn skies along with red, orange and yellow to echo the changing leaves! Take a peek at what I have to share with you today.

Isn't this a sweet scarecrow? I'm afraid she wouldn't scare away very many crows ~ hee!!  She's from an Etsy shop I found a few years ago called October Pumpkin. And speaking of pumpkins, these are an accompanying stamp from the set. I've stamped everything in chocolate brown ink, then colored them with Tombow markers. Since I couldn't use green on the pumpkin vines and sunflower leaves, I used this Pralines and Cream glitter. Isnt it pretty! It's by Clear Snap and comes in a salt shaker, fun huh!! I picked it up at the stamp convention this year.

I'm so happy your could stop by today!  Enjoy your first day of October,  hope you can play along with us this week at the ColourQ! ~Lisa

Adorable card, Lisa. ;-) I love how you used these colors - perfect vision for them! The touches of glitter are fantastic.

Which Tombow markers do you have? I have about 5 packs that I've wanted to send on to someone else, since I don't ever use them. You're welcome to them, if you'd like. I can look to see which collections they are, so you can take the ones you want, or I can just send them all to you. Let me know. You're welcome to them if you can use them! ;-)
