cQc #212~ What Can I Say!

Okay one more post for today!! This time I'm sharing my card for the new ColourQ challenge. With black orange and green being three of the colors and a googly eyed monster in the inspiration photo, I could easily have gone with another Halloween card. But I decided to focus on the circles in the inspiration photo and how they appear layered instead. And this is what I came up with.

I die cut two PTI simple circle borders. One Basic Black and the other Wisteria Wonder. I cut the black die cut down the center then added it to the back of the Wisteria Wonder die cut. Three flowers (Impress) were stamped and punched with a one inch circle punch. I added these, along with two DeNami buttons, to the simple circles. Just the upper portion of my white panel was embossed with my large polka dots embossing folder. Sigh...I LOVE this embossing folder!!! Then I stamped my SU sentiment along the bottom. The circle border was added to my card as the focal and everything was topped off with a few black rhinestones.

That's it for me today friends. I hope you have a chance to play along with us this week at the ColourQ! ~Lisa

LOVE this card! It's so perfectly non-Halloweenie! (though I've nothing against Halloween..)And yes, that's an amazing folder; fell in love with that when I saw Arielle using it on her cards. But this, this is lovely and sweet. Have a great Tuesday. Bev

What a fun card. Those colors really pop against all that beautiful white space. I love the wavy sentiment, and how it works with all the other circles on the card.

Fabulous! I have to admit to skipping right past this challenge because it looked Halloween and I was done. But your card is cheerful and bright and not a hint of Halloween! SO creative!
