Got Sprinkles?

Did you ever just have one of THOSE days? Things started out well, a walk with Max, a few snow balls for my snow crazed pup, a little cleaning and then cookie baking. I'm going to a family cookie exchange tomorrow. I checked my supplies the other day, 3 bottles of sprinkles good to go. NOT!!!

The family loves the sugar cookie recipe I have and always requests those for the exchange. They're a lot of work for several dozen, but it is that time of year, so I forge through it. Got down to my last batch and ran out of sprinkles...3 COOKIES SHORT!!! Ughhhhh!

None of my neighbors I would normally go to were home and I couldn't leave because the UPS man was coming to pick up a package. So I cleaned everything up and had to bake more after dinner. LIFE!!!

Needed a pick me up so I have a post for you tonight! Something whimsical and fun. All stamps are DeNami Design and the paper is My Mind's Eye.

Planning to do Christmas baking this weekend?
 Buy extra sprinkles!! ~Lisa

How pretty! Love the snowflake paper with the ornaments. :)

How frustrating about the cookies. I don't start my baking until the weekend before Christmas. :)

What a cute card! I love the snowflake background. Cooking mishaps like that always seem to happen at crucial moments don't they? Glad to hear you finished up because I would have just eaten the sprinkle-less ones!

Umm-we must have been having the same type of day!! LOL!! I spent the day baking too and got everything done and went to try a cookie and realized I forgot to add the flavoring!! OMG-I almost just wanted to CRY!! I don't think I have EVER forgot the Vanilla and Almond extract and if they had butter in them I wouldn't have even worried about it, but they were just horrible and I'd be known as the MOM not to ask to help bake for the Holiday Parties for LIFE!! Humm-my husband thought that might not be a bad thing!!?? ;) hahaha, except for the fact that the friends who have tried my Sugar Cookies LOVE them and anyone else who has ever had one always want the recipe!! For me its a PRIDE thing because I really do LOVE to bake and have people LOVE what I make!! Anyway, i started all over again and I got them done before supper, but it was a LONG Day all the same!! I had to share a card too last night to help unwind!! Too Funny how simple things can bring us JOY!! Have a Fabulous Weekend SWEET Lisa!! ;) p.s sorry for the novel!! ;)
