Paper Sweeties February Inspiration Challenge #16 ~ Be Mine!

Can you believe it's the first day of February!! My mom always says that once we get to Valentines Day, we're on the downside of winter and headed toward spring!! And that holiday my friends is only two weeks away!

Being the first of the month means a new inspiration challenge at Paper Sweeties! The theme this time is {Be Mine} with a pretty Valentine color palette. I've placed Emma among some of my favorite MME paper and sweet little elements.

I layered the DPs onto a rustic cream card stock base. The lacy print paper was cut into a tag shape and extends a little beyond the card's edge. I tied a fluffy bow using PS Baby Pink Berry seam binding and I am absolutely in love with this color! I tucked in a couple of felt rolled roses, a tiny gingham flower and a trio of buttons.

I've dressed Emma in the outfit from the Splendor of Autumn set. I added a few little pompoms to the bottom of her poncho. I thought that made it look warm and cozy for a February outing!! This sentiment is from the same set.

That just about does it for me. Remember to hop along to see what the team has created. We hope you can join us in the challenge this month, we look forward to your projects!

Hi, girl. ;-)

You're card is so pretty - I love the soft colors and elements and papers you've used. The pops of color with the buttons are so fun, too. I need to get around my favorite blogs more!

Thank you so much for your sweet comment on my blog last week. ;-) I appreciate it!

And thanks for the encouraging words about Spring - I usually need a little encouragement to get through the last bit of Winter, LOL.
